Story of a girl is a story about a girl named Dianna and her life as she goes through high school. And how she copes with the harrasement and bullying she gets from the kids at her school. During middle school her and her brother Daren's friend began dating he was a senior in high school and she was a eighth grader. Things happened over the summer between the to of them and Dianna beganto get a bad reoputation from her future peers. One day her father found out about the two of them and her father and the whole town begane to disown Dianna. This led Dianna onto a bad foot for her freshman year of high school. The book then skips to the last day of school her sophmore year. That summer she gets a job at a local pizza place were se meets her x-boyfriend who is a fellow co-worker.
